How do I get my real estate license in Massachusetts?
You must first complete a state-approved 40 hour Massachusetts real estate pre licensing course. You will then submit a completed exam application to PSI Testing Services for pre-approval to sit for your MA State and National real estate licensing exams. Upon successful completion of both portions of the exam, you will be issued a Real Estate Salesperson License and will then be eligible to practice Real Estate in Massachusetts under a licensed Broker. How long do I have to complete the class?
You have 30 days from the last day of your scheduled webinar session to complete the program. For example, if you are in a weekend class that runs June 3, 4, 10 & 11, all of your coursework is due on July 11.
If you purchased the Premium Package, you have an additional 30 days to complete the class.
How long do I have to pass the real estate exam in Massachusetts?
You have 2 years from your class date to pass the Massachusetts real estate exam and the National portion of the real estate exam. This time limit is state-mandated and cannot be extended. If you miss the 2 year deadline, you will be required to re-take the entire 40 hour class again before you can sit for the exam.
What if I need more time to review before my real estate exam?
Our Basic program includes 30 days of access to the course materials and the Premium Package allows for 6 months of review. You can purchase an extension for access on a monthly basis for $25 per month, billed monthly until canceled.
What if I need to reschedule?
You can transfer into an upcoming session at no charge as long as you notify the school at least 24 hours before the start of your regularly scheduled session. If you begin a session or need to reschedule with less than 24 hours’ notice, your hours must be made up within 30 days of your missed session. Failure to do so will result in full forfeiture of tuition.
What if I miss a day or partial day of class?
Please notify the school as soon as possible if you anticipate missing any part of the webinar session. 24 hours’ notice must be given for any absences and failure to do so, including “no-shows” will result in full forfeiture of tuition. All makeup hours must be made up within 30 days of the missed session.
